Magical Eats

Your objective in Magical Eats, a Game Jam submission on Nitori.Itch.io, is to form groups of three or more to overcome your adversary. This Rhythm/Puzzler Match-3 game draws inspiration from the ArcSys title, Magical Beats and stars Touhou's Marisa as she advances through five stages by aligning blocks to the rhythm. The game was created for the Touhou Pride Jam 3 function, where you are allowed to drop blocks only on the fourth beat of the Metronome that is highlighted by yellow marks; if not done timely or accurately, your blocks will scatter away.
Like with most Match-3 games, the objective of Magical Eats, a Game Jam submission on Nitori.Itch.io, is to form groups of three or more blocks in order to defeat your adversary. This game takes inspiration from ArcSys' Magical Beats and blends rhythm with puzzle-solving elements. Accompany Touhou's Marisa as she progresses through five stages by matching blocks to the beat. The creators designed this game for participation in the Touhou Pride Jam 3 competition. However, it should be noted that you can only drop blocks on the fourth note displayed by the yellow area of the Metronome; otherwise they will scatter off if you're too slow or out of sync.
