Tute, part of the Ace-Ten family of card games, hails from Italy and was originally called Tutti. By the 19th century, it had gained popularity in Spain and has since become a well-loved game there. Naipes, traditional Spanish or Italian playing cards make up the 40-card deck used for play. Each player receives eight cards with the non-dealer starting with any card to begin each trick. The second player must follow suit if possible or use trump if they do not have that suit's card.
